Installing new Update on MDA help.

I was wondering if anyone knew if updating the software for a Tmobile MDA to the newest version will erase my contacts and if there is anyway to save them? Or are they not harmed during update.

TIA

Hello Tia,

If you're upgrading the OS, all your data will be erased, including any third party applications that you have installed. To avoid losing your data you can make a backup by just synchronizing with your PC. When you're done with the upgrade, reconnect your device and the data will be transferred back.
