I'm new to the forum, but I've had the 8125 for close to a year now, and I love my phone. But lately, the friggin' thing is acting like it's possessed! After it's been on for about an hour or so, it'll freeze, then automatically
restart, like a soft reset.
But that's not all!
After it gets to the initial Windows logo before it loads the OS, it'll freeze and restart again! It does this for about 20 mins straight before it gives up and turns off. When you turn it back on, it does the whole thing over again. You have to plug the phone back into the charger for it to start working properly. I noticed that it only happens when the battery is less that 55%. I also figured that since it works while plugged in, maybe it was a power issue of some sort.
So far, I have added GSPLAYER and GoogleMaps. That's all. I have the latest ROM, 2.25.11. I don't know what else to do other than get the iPhone, but I'm not ready to give up on this phone yet.
I've been charging my phone constantly. I'm gonna do a hard reset tonite and leave it unplugged. If it goes crazy again, I'm gonna try to have cingular replace the battery. I'll let u know if that helps.
