First off, I'd like to say this site is definitely a great place to look at cool tips and tricks.
Ok, on to my problem. I was having problems with my gprs connection being on all the time no matter what. I'd hangup a call and it would automatically connect. I realized I had an idea how to fix it, when I went to go create a new connection, I couldnt use my old connection's name, even though it was deleted. so I opened PHM Regedit, did a quick search and found the old connection Cingular GPRS. I deleted both entries that I found for Cingular GPRS and a fe other keys.
Now, the gprs never comes on which is good, but the bad part, when I access opera, IE, livesearch, googlemaps, tomtom, or anything else, it doesnot try to connect to gprs and says internet is not working.
I have a cingular 8125 and when I go into the comm manager, and click wifi settings, and click network cards, normally I had like the internet, and work to pick fom the drop down, now it's a blank drop down and Im 99% sure that's where my problem lies. if anyone could assist me in getting the gprs working again without doing a hard reset, hell I'll take and export of your registry if I can read it on my homepc, Ill swift through and find what i deleted or anything. Any help would be appreciated, the last thing I want is to format.
Oh yeah, I know it's that drop down bar because even when connected to wifi it wont work.
