Running programs

I am looking for some kind of software or plugin that will display all running applications on the start bar or in the system tray. Something small that I can switch between running apps and or close them. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Handy Switcher

I purchased HandySwitcher for that exact thing. It can have a very small plug in on your today screen. When you tap it, it shows you all your running programs. You can switch between them, and close them from that plug-in. You can also configure it so that when you tap the "x" on a program it closes it, but if you hold down the "x" on a program it minimizes it. Hope this helps!

This is exactly what i was looking for. I can even set it up to have the icon show in the system tray so that the start bar is free. Great find and thanks for pointing me in that direction. Found a free trial at pocketgear.com but not sure how long it lasts. I will be purchasing it at the end though.

I am also a HandySwitcher user (I use several DinarSoft apps - all top notch). If you are looking for a freeware app that has similar functions and ties its switcher into the 'X' button display, I would suggest the latest version (2.2) of vBar. It has a tiny memory footprint and is available at www.pocketpcfreewares.com

How about...free! I did a trial of the DinarSoft app and was ready to buy it. Then, I found a freebie replacement just as good! It is called: Vbar and you can find it on Freeware for Pocket PC windows mobile and wm5 or wm6 ppc, HTC PocketPC free downloads..
