Windows Vista Problem

hey i'm new here..just recently got the cingular 8125...i've been using this website since then, but this is my first post...

i read about a few people having problems with windows vista, but i tried researching my problem, and couldnt find anyone with the same problem...

my problem is:
i hook up my phone to my computer, everything installed fine, everything seems to work good, i can flip through the folders and system files on my phone from explorer, but when i try to transfer anything, the file rarely finishes transferring, and seems to just stop transferring..then after about a minute or 2, it comes up and says i lost my connection to my phone...i try to go back through explorer to get into my phones files again, and its not there anymore....

everything seems to work fine with windows xp pro, but vista ultimate just seems to disconnect the phone when transferring stuff....

any help would be greatly appreciated

hopefully you've solved the problem already but in case you didn't or for someone else with the problem I read somewhere else that you go Settings:Connections and run the USB to PC app and change the check box. hope this helps.
