I have a pocket pc and do not have the link cable for it so I can not back-up my contacts with active sync. I want to be able to just back them up to a sd card and be able to reload them back into the ppc database easly and make it read able on a pc too. If possible I would like to be able to do this with the tasks and appointments as well. What program out there will let me do this? I've been looking for a while now. I have have a ipaq 1910 with an intel pxa250 cpu and winCE 3.0.11171 (build 11178). Thanks for the help in advanced.
Pocket dbExplorer lets you export the various PIM databases as .csv files, which desktop Outlook can import. It also has a database backup/restore function for use solely on the device; this would not create a file usable on a PC.
According to the Phatware site, it works with all versions of PPC/WM from 2000 to 2003SE, so it should be compatible with your device.
