hey guys, i did search this but to no avail. i have had this cingular 8525 for 2 weeks now. i get edge download speeds. i dont live in a 3G area. my phone always has "G" for GpRs but never actualy switched to the "E" icon. i was told its normal but the manual says different. does anybody know whats going on and how maybe to fix this.
I believe its network dependend, your device supports this kind of notification but its up to the network to broadcast the service or not. You might want to ask them about this. Or i could be wrong about this...
