i recorded like 5-6 videos yesterday of about 2-3 min each at a concert iwent to...and took like 10 pictures and they all automatically store to my storage card which is a 2 GB...and then after i tried to play the videos to see how good the audio came out and then it said windows had ecnountered a problem and everything under my documents of my storage card disappeared!!! anyway to get it back? its weird cuz oneof the pics i took i made my background/wallpaper yet the rest of the pics are gone and the videos
i have an 8125 and it happened to me before...now windows media player isnt even playing the regular MP3s i had on my storage card...wth happend?
I can't explain what happened to your videos and pictures, or even tell you if they are gone for good, but I can try to help you with your mp3 problem (who knows, it could be related). I had a similar problem where my Windows Media Player wouldn't play my mp3's or even see them for that matter. Here is what I did to fix my Windows Media Player:
Go to File Explorer then menu and show all files (hidden files).
In the location path, go to "device" then "application data\microsoft\media player", look for and then delete the "WMDRM" folder and the "WMPinfo.xml" file. Then go back to the location path "memory card" and delete "MSMETADATA" and "WMDRM" folders. Exit File Explorer. Then go the Windows Media Player and update your library.
