I recently bought an O2 XDA IIi from E-bay, did a hard reset on the unit, programs were reinstalled but when I started to press Menu, it asked for an ADMIN PASSWORD. Does anyone know how to bypass or remove this?PLEASSEEE I NEED YOUR HELP! Anyone who has the skills, do kindly share what you know. Plus, I'm having trouble getting the phone to work although I got an O2 simcard, I don't understand why it says Connection Failed. Hope to hear from you guys!
A couple things that may work:
1.) Try simple passwords such as Admin, Administrator, Password, ect.
2.) There may be a "Power Off" switch somewhere on the unit that COMPLETELY turns the power off from the unit, if you have a switch like this, you will need a stylus to switch it, but a paperclip or anything of the sort would work.
3.) This is a sure fire way. If you're patient, just turn it on and wait for the battery to go dead, if you arn't patient, open up the sucker and detach the battery. There, problem solved.
Hope this helps, I only sign up so I could respond to you.
Linley Meslier: There is a memu right at the startup of some Pocket PCs if they are set this way. I believe this is what the person is referring to.
