Hi all,
I recently bought a Toshiba Pocket PC e740 on ebay and want to use it for contact information on the road. I have a question on Outlook compatibility.
The Toshiba came with Windows Mobile 2002 along with the CD that contains Activesync 3.5 and Outlook 2002.
I currently have Outlook 2003 on my desktop ( and could install Outlook 2000 if absolutely necessary ). I do not have Outlook 2002 for the desktop.
My questions are:
Will Outlook 2003 on my desktop sync with Outlook 2002 on the e740?
If not, will Outlook 2000 on my desktop sync with Outlook 2002 on the e740?
What version of Activesync would be best for me to use?
I am pretty sure that I read on Toshiba's site that the e740 could NOT be updated to Pocket PC 2003, but feel free to correct that if you can...
