NEED HELP!! 8125 is acting completely strange!

Well I have had my 8125 for about 4 months now, and so far it has been great and I never really had any problems with it, up until yesterday.

1st problem:

I had 2 voicemails last night and the phone had the icon on the top notifying me of my voicemail(s). I checked the voicemails from my 8125 and after deleting the messages and ending the call, the notification was still there. Now this isn't very unusual since it occurs every now and then and it may take a few minutes for the service and phone to actually recognize that I checked the vmails.
Problem is, its been almost 24 hours, and the icon is still there.

2. Well anyway, I can live with the icon being there, not a huge deal. But here's the other problem:
The 8125 started running extremely slow. Taking minutes to go from the call status to the today screen. I tried soft resetting a few times, but that didn't solve it. Now I just finished hard resetting it, and after it completed that, I heard the notification go off for a voicemail.

I didn't have any programs installed on my phone, and I also haven't dropped it or damaged it in any way.

Anyone know what's going on with this thing??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you have gprs (Internet) service? Or did you install a special connection? Your phone might be "searching" and the memory is busy with it...
