Is anyone out there currently using the new HTC TYTN on cingular wireless as a carrier?
Secondly, do you have the current settings to be able to get on the internet?
As a not so playing nice with others carrier, they want you to toss your brand new unlocked phone and come and purchase their ball and chain locked version 8525 phone....ahhh not!
You will want to go to start, settings, connections, connections, advanced, manage existing connections, then click new. Type in the name MEdia net. Click on the modem tab and add a new modem. The name of the modem should be Cingular GPRS. Then in the drop down box select the 3G option. Click next and for the apn type in wap.cingular, click next user name is WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM and the Password is CINGULAR1. You can also click advanced and add in a hardcoded dns if you want. Then click finish. then click the proxy tab. check this connects to the internet. you can also check the box for the proxy server and enter in wireless.cingular.com if you want to access the media net home page.

Hey Crytus,
Forgot one thing, make sure should anyone decide to configure this to go online, insure they have a unlimited data package.
If not, just crack the wallet wide open and go see the kiosk machine. You will be blowing the per kb for data download real easy.
