Syncing Calendar

I've got a situation with Activesync (4.2.0) syncing my Pocket PC Calendar (Mobile Windows 5) with Outlook (2003) on my desktop PC.

The entries on the Pocket PC originally came from my Lotus Notes Calendar on my laptop. These all look very nice on the Pocket PC. All of the information shows, etc.

Now, when I try and sync with my desktop which has Outlook, only some of the calendar entries show up.

A little investigation shows me that on the Pocket PC, the items that do NOT show up in Outlook have a symbol on them that looks like the sync symbol with a slash through it.

Does anyone know if this an issue with Activesync or Outlook on the desktop or Calendar on the PocketPC? Also, what condition(s) on a calendar entry would prevent it from showing up in Outlook? There is a reference in the Activesync help file that says that some PIM features might not be supported. Not very definitive.
