I mean, the vast majority of software for Palm-size PCs (as they were later known) has been ported over to the Pocket PC, so I don't really see the point...
Maybe you need to support an app as it exists on Palm devices. An aop ported to WM will not execute the same system calls even if it looks the same.
And, yes, some people do use Palm, so Palm apps still need to be developed alongside WM apps. An emulator is essential in this process.
Finally, not all Palm apps have been ported. If you have an app that has filled a slot for you for a long time, why settle for something else if you have a way to keep using your favorite?
It sounds as though you are looking for an emulator for your PC. I think StyleTap is for WM devices. If memory serves, the Palm SDK includes a desktop emulator; try an internet search using 'Palm SDK' as your search term.
First thanks to all who replied me. My actual question was about an emulator for Palm PC and Pocket PC that can run on Windows or Linux. Because of my bad english I will explain beter what I mean: I have a standard PC with the size of middle tower and I want to run on it software made for Palm PC and/or for Pocket PC. How can I do it. Thanks to all who will post me again. See ya for now.
