Good Morning All ... So I screwed up my Navman PiN 570 with the wrong bootloader and now I get a white screen with an image of a PPC ... needless to say, I'm a moron, SO, now I'll leave it up to the experts and send it in to a repair shop to get fixed ... MY QUESTION IS ... does anyne have any idea approximately how much it will run me to get WM2003 reloaded ?? I'm curious to see if it's worth it, or do I pitch it and get a new one. (the wife will kill me).
You should contact their customer service to find out what they would charge to do a reflash of the OS ROM for you. It seems that it would be a pretty simple undertaking and so (hopefully) fairly inexpensive.
Fingers crossed ... they can't tell me anything over the phone ... "WE HAVE TO LOOK AT IT FIRST" ... Since I've asked them a bunch of questions, the best I can figure is that they outsource it to another company. Navman is good for their GPS side of the house, but as far as PPC questions ... they're hopeless.
