Cingular 8125 suggestions w/ sounds

I'm new to the Cingular 8125 phone. Can somebody please tell me (in steps) how to get the phone to play custom sounds when I receive a "Missed call" or "Text Message"? I really hate the default sounds programmed in the phone.
Thanks!
Adrian

This suggestion did absolutely NOTHING. 1st of all, the hidden files "bubble" was already marked. 2nd, I've already tried adding the custom .wav files. Either I'm not adding them in the right folder or this suggestion doesn't work at all.
I need better instructions and better suggestions. I'm not fluent using this phone. Somebody please help!

I have an 8525, should be the same. Connect your phone to your PC, let ActiveSync do it's thing. Once it has done it's connect and initial sync, click on "Explore" in the ActiveSync window on your PC. Double click on the "My Windows Based-Moble Device", you should then be able to find the Windows folder. If not, on the menu bar at the top of that window, click on "Tools", at the bottom of that drop down box, click "Folder Options". In the window that opens, click the "View" tab. Look there for "Hidden Files and Folders" and check the "Show hidden files and folders" option. You should now be able to see the Windows folder. Now go to where your WAVs are on your PC, right click on the WAV file, choose "Copy". Go back to the Windows folder on your phone, right click there and choose "Paste". Once you have your WAVs into the windows folder, go to "settings", on the "personal" tab, tap "sounds & notfications", on the "sounds" tab check mark "events" and check mark "programs", on the "notifications" tab, tap the "event" drop down box and choose the event, check mark "play sound", tap the next drop down box, choose the sound you want to play for that event. If you put your WAVs in the Windows folder correctly, they will show up as an option.
Hope this helps!

Tedd

next time someone helps you don't throw a fit, i assume your older than 4. just say that didnt quite get you there, that you need more detail.

I also have an 8525, i did a search and found my answer to figure this same thing out.
