I have look all over the net and cannot find any good info on a WM5 reg editor. Lots of info for PPC 2003 and earlier but not for mobile 5. Does anyone have any recomendations before I go out and just start trying thm out.
Total Commander includes a registry editor and version 2.5 improves WM5 support. It is now in its second public beta release and seems very stable. You can find all PocketPC versions available for download at http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
Sorry, but I can't seem to make it a live link when accessing this site's mobile version, so you will need to copy the link address to your browser.
I am a user of Resco File Explorer, which includes a registry editor, but it is not freeware like Total Commander.
I have found it worth the price, especially if you pick up one of the bundles. I have found Resco Photo Viewer an incredible addition. The File Explorer also includes useful Today screen plug-ins for information display and icons for app launching. Just be aware that there is a 12-month limit on free upgrades. After that year, upgrades need to be purchased at a discounted price. But the Resco apps are on my indispensable list along with Tweaks2k2 and Dinarsoft's Handy apps and MemMaid to manage apps memory.
