Dark video playback (Coreplayer)

I have converted a AVI file to use on Coreplayer but it is quite dark. Is there a way to adjust the contrast, brightness, etc. using Coreplayer?

Nothing in the menus/settings helped with brightness or contrast. Upping the brightness on the PDA helps but drains battery of course.

I have resorted to re-rendering the file but with an increaded brightness bias. That has worked. I would have thought that these sort of basic settings would have neen included. It may be a function to far...

Thanks for the help - maybe in a latter release.
