I have a Cigular 8125 and over the last few days it has been acting odd. At random times the title bar will go missing. The today page is in place but the very top area that usually has the program name, start, clock. etc is gone and whatever program was running prior is visable.
Mine does this to with high cpu usage it runs out of program memory. closing unused programs helps. Do you use magic button? if not its freeware install it. I dont think thers a fix its just a bug.
I had a freeware task manager installed (not sure what the name was...) but it messed up the soft keys while in phone mode. I couldn't get the keypad to come up during a call to tap out extension numbers so I uninstalled it. I have also been pretty careful about open programs. I know the "settings > system > memory > open program" routine pretty well. I'll just live with it I guess. I really like this phone/PDA and except for that bug I've been impressed.
Nothing has been added that during the phase-in of the weirdness but it seems to have stopped for now. I think that at least one standard program sucks mucho memory - the camera. I think that if it gets left running the background I may have the source. Is there a way to tell what programs might be system hogs?
