Need Urgent Help

Recently I have to hard reset my imate device. Before that I had backup of my device through activesync. Now I had installed all programs. What will happen if I run the backup And Restore? Should I delete the old backup and make a new one?
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Thanks Brian,
But if I restore than many old programmes will be added to registry which I have deleted already.
Do you still want me to Restore? What if I delete and make new Backup?
Thanks

Yes, you are right. Restoring replaces your existing information with the restored image. You can make a new backup using ActiveSync and keep botth backups if you want, just give the new backup file a different name. Otherwise, you can have it overwrite the old version by giving it the same name. If you had to create a new partnership after you did the hard reset, the backup files will be put in different folders since the files associated with a partnership are kept in that partnership's folder on your PC.
