PPC-6700 & Exchange

Hello Everyone,

Is there any way I can get exchange email to sync using WI-FI instead of connecting to the cellular network?

Thanks a lot...stillg etting used to this and setting it up

I believe that you need only hook up to a working WiFi, then HIT send and receive button. Just like the internet explorer the WiFi is the dominate source and as long as it is working the PPC will not use a cellular source.

Thats what I was thinking too, but even if I have a working Wi-FI when I got to active sync with exchange it still wants to use Ev-Do.

I'm gonna try to connect via WI-FI when I get home (a WI-FI network that I know works) and try to connect to Exchange and let you know what happens. Maybe I have something set up wrong? Still trying to learn how to use WM 5.0

You could always go to settings > connections > network connections and disable the EV-DO connex before trying to sync...
