Can someone tell me how to select all the contacts in my Pocket Hp PC 4155? How do I select all the Calendar events? (So I can later delete them and re-sync)
(I know I can drag across the contacts to select them, but I have 3000+ so I need a better way)
Thanks amigos,-Migs

Try this using the standard software keyboard (may work with other SIPs - I haven't tried it with any others).
The old way (until WM5), is to display the Contacts in list view and then type Ctrl+a on the soft keyboard. This selects the entire list.
Or try this. Highlight the first contact listing (if it opens, just click OK to close the detail screen). On the soft keyboard type Ctrl+Shift, use the side scrollbar to move to the last contact and tap that name. The whole list should be selected for whatever command you do next.
It worked perfectly with the contacts list. I just assumed you couldnt hold two keys down on a software keypad. I tried your suggestion and it worked perfectly! Absolutely perfect!. I remain MOST grateful guys! -Migs

I'm glad it did the trick. The kudos belong to those SIP coders who asked themselves about when they used the Control key and then made it 'stick' while waiting for the rest of key combination. That is good programming work.
