Can't Install To XDA Mini S (WM5) Using .exe & ActiveSync

Hi!
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but i'm having problems installing to my XDA Mini S.
I'm using the .exe from my PC connected with USB and ActiveSync enabled.
I start the install and it installs the PC segment fine, when it attempts to install the PPC part it hangs for a while, the Add/Remove box appears in outline, then it all disappears saying Install Successful.
No installation dialogue appears on the PPC, nor any files copied across.

I was trying to install the trial for Speed Reader Plus and at first thought it was this program, but have since tried and failed with other progs too.

I also tried to copy the CAB files across and do it that way, but it only installed a couple and wouldn't run properly.

I've had plenty success prior to this. It has only occurred after i had to soft reset after it had hung whilst i was accessing the storage. I have had no problems accessing or copying to storage.

Hope someone can help.

If you cannot even install .cab files directly from your device, there may be a problem with it...and you may need to hard reset.

Did you try soft-resetting and then reconnecting via activesync?

The .cab files would install, the software just wouldn't work after...

Not that it matters, in the end I did a Hard Reset and just reinstalled everything. No problems and didn't take that long.
