I am at wits end after spending the past 4 days on repeated calls with Cingular. Looking for any good ideas and advice.
I have a Cingular 8125 running Goodlink for synchronization to my company's Exchange server.
Have had the device nearly 4 months and it has always worked well, but lately it won't sync. No calendar, no email, no syncing.
Called Cingular/Good. They say hard boot it. Do that several times. No sync.
Reinstalled Goodlink. No sync.
Installed new sim card. No sync.
Put sim card from another device into 8125. Works fine. Syncing properly.
Put my sim card back in. No sync.
So I suspect that my phone number is not working properly within the Cingular/Good network. I receive and can make calls, but can't sync via Goodlink. The number was originally a Sprint number that I transferred. But it worked for 4 months and then all of a sudden stopped syncing.
My company has 700 employees and we use Cingular, but I'm ready to switch everyone to another provider if Cingular doesn't come up with a solution to this issue.
Cingular says everything is fine on their end. They really are no help.
