I have a O2 XDA Mini. Whenever I try downloading a little larger file (say 10 MB), Pocket IE gives me a message saying there is not enough space on the disc, inspite of selecting Storage Card as the target location of the file.
After sometime, I found out that even if I select storage card as the target location, It automatically changes itself to Main Memory. I then did a soft reset and now it retains the 'storage card' option.
But still the problem is not solved. Even if the target location is Storage Card, it gives the same message "There is not enough space on the disc".
BTW, My storage card has atleast 300 MB of freespace and the file I tried downloading is 12 MB MP3 file.
PIE is not the best at handling large files to begin with, but I suspect that you are dealing with the fact that the PIE temp and cache files are still in main memory. The easiest way to change this is with an app like Tweaks2k2 since these must be redirected through the registry.

I am not too good at technology. Could you please let me know in more detail as to what this Tweaks2k2 does?
Tweaks2k2 is an app that allows you to edit a variety of registry entries through a user-friendly interface. Trying to work with the registry can be a bit dicey, especially for someone unfamiliar with how to do so. This app makes sure that all necessary registry settings for a particular item are properly reset.
