when I try to install an app on my new ppc, an error pops up that says "appname is not a valid pocket pc application".....how can I properly install apps on my pocket pc?
Are you sure the application you are trying to install is configured for pocketpc? Secondly, have you tried using the .cab file and installing it straight on the ppc instead of using the .exe mode from PC. Provide more details on what application you are tryiing to install so other might also provide some help.

If I remember correctly, Pocket TV is distributed in a form that needs to be installed from a desktop host over ActiveSync. Are you trying to run the install file on your PPC?
