Hi All
I've been trying - without success - to find some software for my Ipaq so I can can us it as a handsfree device in my car with a bluetooth connection to my phone.
Bascially, I want to eliminate as many devices off the dashboard as I can. Use the Ipaq as the MP3 player, GPS and handsfree. I've got the first two covered, but not the third.
Does anyone know of any software that can do it. I've tried downloading a few speed dialing software packages from different locations, but they all fail to load.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hi splashy,
Did you find any solution? Did you success? I'm trying to find a way for this too. Same yours. I'm using my ppc as mp3 player in my car. And i would want to use it as bluetooth handsfree car kit.
Could you share your solution please.
I'm after the same info and can't really find it anywhere.
I did find some stuff that said that due to the limitations in the version of Bluetooth on windows mobile it was only possible to have headset profile and not handsfree profile. I'm not sure that's true mind. If TomToms can do it, £12 car kits BT speaker things can do it, I can't believe a PDA can't.
I'm looking to buy the HP-iPAQ-rx5935 for in car SatNav + Bluetooth handsfree calling, if it can't do the handsfree bit I don't want it.
I've just been onto HP online chat, looks like it's not possible.
