McDeb Theme Maker Help

I recently purchased the McDeb theme maker 4 i think it is so i could make my own themes. Now on the site there is a page that talks about my issue but I didn't understand what the dude was saying on how to get around it. Hopefully someone has an aswer cause I emailed their support and no one has written me back. Here is the situation....

I use the theme maker to change the colors of the bars and menu screens and all that but when I load it on to the phone, it changes the colors or puts a color that isn't the one i chose.

Here is what their article about it says:
Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC and Pocket PC Phone Themes

But i'm still clueless. I made a pretty decent theme with some triped out colors but it doesn't work. Does anyone know how to get around this? It has to do with a pre and post WM5 thing. I'm just a dumb guy with a cool phone that doesn't get some of this techno mumbo jumbo. All I want is the pretty colors to show.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

Again, I do reward good help with loads of beer, or shots or even flowers if you are a girl and don't drink...or even if you're a guy that just likes flowers (that's none of my business...hehe). As the old song says...I'M SENDIN OUT AN S.O.S.!!!

I've been using that theme maker to make my own custom themes, try to visit downloads area and you might find some good themes that was made from McDeb.
Let me know the procedure that you did when creating your themes so that i can walk you through it..

Well i would start a new one then first input the images i want then on the main view i would go over to the left to COLOER TOOLS and go down the drop down one at a time, picking a color for each item. Then when I'm done, save and load, the colors change on the phone.Really it's only the colors on the upper and lower bars. Other menu colors do change to what you pick. It also said the text on the bars will always be white, is that so?

that is not the program matter, but in wm5 the colours are fixed u can't make new colours, when u make a theme with a certain colour not one of the device colours it will change to the nearest one from the fixed colours, for istance if u make the bars balck u'll find it grey and so on,
but u can use pocket tweaks it will allow u to change the colours u want,
so try it and tell me

Sweet, thanks! It does the job for the most part. That's what bites about the MeDeb...you have your hopes all up to create these themes with all these custom colors then...POOF...they're gone. This Tweak program seems to do a better job at the colors in a way. Or at least it shows you the options that u do have. With McDeb, you really don't know what color it will change it to until you load it. I'll just have to use them both. Hopefully there will be a fix or update for this in the future. Thanks tho!
