Edit factory settings for hard reset?

I want to change some settings in the default configuration so that when a hard reset is done some of my options will not change.
Example:
Time Zone setting. I want GMT -6 to be the default when that unit is hard reset.

Any help on what file to edit and how to change the default setup will greatly helpful.

Thank you.

Hey tolly... I'm not quite sure if that is possible because the whole point of a hard reset is to restore all settings back to its original form. But if I run into something that says otherwise, I'll let you know...

Maybe some kind of script or batch file that can load after the hard reset is performed will work.
Basic problem: I send the units to the field. Unit has problem, user resets unit. Now the OS has reset the time zone to default settings. User then enters data, and then sends in to the DB for processing. Well all the records are a couple hours off which is throwing off the reports and payroll.

So I need a solution to set the timezone to GMT -6 (as well as some other settings) after a hard reset without user interaction. I have just started working with these devices, so I know not of all the tricks and such yet.

Thank you for your time.

Hey tolly... I was thinking, maybe something called Spb Clone would help with the situation. Check it out here... costs a pretty penny though...
