Hello, I'm looking for a good FTP program. I've tried all of FTP programs available on PocketGear and I'm having difficulty getting one to work. The problem must be with my server so this is a two part question. First I'd like to know if anyone has a high recommendation for an FTP program. Second I'll need help getting it to work with my server. So before I describe my connection problems I'd like to hear any recommendations. Anyone have a FTP program recommendation?
My Pocket PC is the 8125 if that makes a differnece.

Thanks!
Which programs have you tried to use thus far? Have you tried SoftX FTP Client? There's a trial version you can check out.
Thanks for your suggestion, Jane Lee. I hadn't tried that one so I just did. When I try to connect to my ftp site it stays busy for a while then looks like it freezes. I can exit out of it though.
I've tried Total Commander, CedeFTP, GetIt, Resco (and others?). I either get no files returned or it just keeps trying to connect. I can view the log file on the server and I can see that I'm am connecting. Connected with ActiveSync, WiFi, or GPRS doesn't seem to make a difference. It has to be setting or configuration issue. I'll keep trying. Thanks again!
Maybe the ftp software is conflicting with firewall or maybe an anti-virus program. Disable and try your ftp software. Let us know if this helps or not.
Yes, I'm sure I disabled firewalls and anti-virus. Yesterday my internet failed and I got a new cable modem. Now I can ftp connect with WiFi and GPRS. I don't need to ftp with active sync so I'll let that one go.
I'm testing with Total Commander, Resco File Explorer, SoftX FTP, and 324FTp. I'm liking the Resco File Explorer and it's assiciated plug-ins.
I'm not sure all that helps since I don't really know why it started working. Maybe the advice is not to try ftp'ing with active sync.
