Does anyone know of a 'free' pdf reader for Windows Mobile 5?
You might want to try Foxit Reader or here's a tip a found but try at your own risk because it requires you to tweak the registry:
-Install Adobe Reader 2.0 on your PPC
-Install Total Commander avaiable here: Total Commander - PocketPC
Only with total commander you can change the registry
- start the Total Commander and go to "\" which will lead you to the registry
- in "HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdobeAdobe Reader4.0AdobeViewer" you have to change the entry: EULA from "0" to "1"

I think the new Mobipocket reader also works with PDF...
Quoting from their website:
"...technical manual in PDF? We've got the answer. Drag and drop it into the Reader Desktop and read it on any mobile device. It also works for Microsoft Office files, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and RTF TXT files as well. You could just compile favorite lyrics into an ebook or your best cooking recipes."
