Could I ask owners of Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PCs to check a flaw in Today Tasks compared to Windows Mobile 2003 SE Pocket PCs. In Tasks please add a couple of items both with priority set to High. Now select Menu / Sort By / Priority. Looking at the task list is it sorted alphabetically in the High Priority Group in order A-Z or Z-A? On my Imate JasJar the sort is Z-A which is rather stupid. My other PPC an Imate Jam running Windows Mobile 2003SE sorts A-Z which in my humble opinion is what it should be. Interested to see if this is widespread on Windows Mobile 5.0. Ah well Pocket Informant here I come! It's a conspiracy! Programmers from PPC software companies have infiltrated Microsoft to dumb down provided software so they can sell their own .Thanks to fellow PPC addicts for your confirmation of this activity.
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict KiwiPPCAddict! I don't have a Windows Mobile 5.0 PPC but I went ahead and did as you said using my i-mate JAM and it grouped from A-Z. But I agree... it is dumb to group from Z-A. Weird. Any Windows Mobile 5.0 PPC users our there willing to spare a couple minutes for KiwiPPCAddict?
Many thanks to nicedud_abad for trying out on your PPC plus thanks for some prompting from imdahn to get the ball moving. It really blows me away how Microsoft could get something so basic wrong. Maybe the Windows Mobile team have been to busy playing on their X-boxes!
