Hi there i`m new to this PDA experiance and have just got my first one. XDA II. Got it off ebay at a bargain but didn`t get any software or instructions with the product. I`ve got the hotsync 4.2 off microsoft but was just wondering if anyone knows a good site were i can down load the instruction mannual and the software that was supposed to comw with it. Could anyone also please help me in preforming a hard reset on the device as its got some of the last owners stuff still on it and I wanted to start a fresh (will the hard reset just reset the factory default settings?)
I wasn't able to find an instruction manual for hotsync but i did find this support page that might be useful to you. Also you can click here to go to a thread that explains how to hard reset your device. Let me know if these help and if you have any other questions.
If you want your manual for your pocket pc, better go ahead at www.02.com its the oficcial website of xda pocket pc/phone.
Now I think you can upgrade your OS into WM5 but now officially, now here's the great forum for your pocket pc xda-developers.com you will find a lot of good stuff there.
Good luck.

Cheers guys that was very informative and i liked the way the liks in your text worked. I performed the hard rest and got the PPC back to factory settings. Hotsync is fine but having a few probs with syncing some things cos of my PIM? A couple of days and the tihing should be working good.
I still miss the PALM it was sooooo easy to work (had an M130 until the dog ate it, yes the dog).
The windows versions seem a little difficult to work compared, but like the intigrated phone.
Still after the instruction mannual for the XDA II if anyone knows were it is.
Yes spellings well bad but cheers
Hope I can help anyone in the future once i get the hang of things.
