is there a way to install oprah on my 8125 without using midlet manager..I tried to install and I hate how I have to always go to midlet manager to run program..
then you download it for windows mobile 5, choose either the CAB or MSI installer for ARM devices (i tend to use the MSI installers through activesync), then you should be fine. mind you, the Opera browser isn't free. at least, that i'm aware of. the one you download is a trial version. which is why i use Minimo.
it takes a good half a minute to get started, but thats not too bad. on my boss' treo 700w, it takes almost 2 minutes or so. and it brutally slow even once it gets going. after it finally starts up on the 8125, it's not that bad.
I liked Opera for WM5 a lot even though you have to pay after the trial. Now Minimo made very sad, I use Firefox and Thunderbird all the time, but minimo constantly crashed my PPC6700
Since memory is so precious I install Opera on my storage card and it worked fine, even though progs from the card do run alittle slower.
