hi everyone, New to this site and just have a question if i may. I downloaded the FlashDash and tried to install but at the end on my PP6700( sprint version) telling me that the "CAB. was unsuccessful!! I see a folder on my device named FlashDash but of course nothing in it. Am i doing something wrong here?? also no mater what software i install for today's animation all i get is a white background for my today's theme. Flash is also installed on my PPC, at least as far as i know. any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thank you all and have a great night.
Flash Dash only works with Windows Mobile 2002 or 2003 and does not yet work with Windows Mobile 5 which is what the PPC-6700 runs. This is why you are not able to run it. I am Beta testing the Mobile 5 version on my PPC-6700 Apache along with Gigabytesol and I am sure they will release it for that version soon.
P.S. This is also the reason why you can't run Today's Animation

How do I know what version of windows mobile I have? I have the Tmobile MDA.

Are you sayiong that I can install a program on my PC and transfer it to my pocket PC and it'll work? How do I download something on my desktop and transfer it to the MDA?
.exe files are installed from your desktop, while your device is connected via activesync. you cannot tranfer a .exe file to your device and install it there. .cab files on the other hand need to be synched to your device first and it will install on its own. Hope this helps!

I have an XDA Mini S, but from what I've read I cannot use 'Flash Dash' on Windows Mobile 5 for animated themes.
Is there anything else that is available for WM5 to animate themes?
When you say 'this site', do you mean PPCAddict, or was there supposed to be a link?
I run WM5 and founf that if I had PPC2003 I could've used Animated Today. There must be something else I can use! What about Macromedia Flash Player 7, will that do it?
