All you need to do is go to Start>Settings>Connections Tab>Beam and make sure that Receive all incoming beams is checked. Then you just need to go to the other device and send the data via infrared making sure that the view to both IR ports are unobstructed and that they are only a few inches apart.

I didnt realize it was 2 way street, i thought i could beam random people.thanks for the info.
