Need advice on dvds to ppc freeware

I'm new to this very good forum and would like to ask your personal experiences with some "good", "user-friendly" DVD to PPC software and movie viewers. I'm really looking for something that would allow me to backup my purchased DVD's to DVD as well as covert them for viewing on my PPC to a reasonable size SD card.

I've searched some threads and have found somethings I think will do this but they seem to complicated for me a s a newbie and may even consider a purchase type if the freeware is too time consuming...that's where I need your personal advice on this subject.

I'm sure some of the more experienced addicts have this down-packed with the freeware stuff, right?

Thanks in advance for all your help/advice.

I'd try this software:

DVD to Pocket PC - Now 350% faster

It's as easy as it gets... let us know if you have any questions!

How to make smallest videos for PPC but keep decent quality.

Which format is best for PPC 2003 in regards to size/quality for WM9 or other Video Media players.

Also, whuch video players are the best in freeware or other.

Thanks,

YOu can also try, Pocket DVD Wizard on PocketGear.com, or this one, Pocket DVD Studio (Special Discount) on PocketGear.com. I haven't personally tried these do to the fact that i dont have a memory card installed on my 8125 YET, but i know pocketgear.com always has great programs..

I've used Pocket DVD Studio - it's not free, but it's fast and allows for a wide range of customizing features to get the best movie (size/quality) for playback.

My average movie is about 200mb, and I usually have 4-5 stored on my 2GB miniSD for those mid-long flights. Plus I always keep a kid's movie for those "patience-trying" moments at a restaurant or shopping.
