So I'm sync'ing my 8125 to my laptop, hoping to use window's media player to d'load my mp3's and I'm having problems.
I keep getting a windo pop up and tell me that I need to register my Windows Office 2003 with a 25 character product code that was supposed to be on the CD cover. I haven't a clue where that is, so I d'loaded RockXP 3.0 that tells you your MS Office product code... problem is, when I run it, it's telling me my "XP" code and I don't have XP on my computer. Further more... the 25 character code that it is giving me isn't working either. So... I d'loaded "Majic Jelly Bean" freeware and it's doing the same thing.
Advice?
I don't think that I can completely sync and get my mp3's without all the Windows Office stuff being sync'd at the same time.
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Steve S! Did you just install Microsoft Office 2003? If so, you can get your key on the CD sleeve that came with the software. If not, when ActiveSync first connects and you set up a partnershp for the first time I recommend that you uncheck everything but media if all you wish to do is sync your mp3s. If you wish to sync your contact information later on I recommend that you get that key (again, found on the CD sleeve).
