Welcome to Pocket PC Addict chicoschic001! Your O2 XDA mini S is indeed Windows Mobile 5.0 but it can install .cab files locally on the device and you can install programs through Microsoft ActiveSync on your PC. You can find a good selection of games in our downloads section!

Welcome to Pocket PC Addict twestall! Here is a quick step by step.
If the game or program in question is a .EXE:
Make sure that your O2 XDA Mini S is connected to your PC and that ActiveSync is running and shows that your Pocket PC is connected.
Run the program and go through the setup process.
The setup program for the software should run the Add/Remove Programs utility automatically to copy the software over to your Pocket PC.
Follow directions on your phone (basically hit Yes and OK a few times).
Enjoy!
If the game or program in question is a .CAB
Download the program to your desktop PC.
Make sure that your O2 XDA Mini S is connected to your PC and that ActiveSync is running and shows that your Pocket PC is connected.
In ActiveSync click on "Explore."
Click on "My Windows Mobile-Based Device"
Copy the .CAB file in a folder that you remember (i.e My Documents)
On your Pocket PC go to File Manager and navigate to this folder.
Run the .CAB file from your Pocket PC directly.
Hit Yes and Ok a few times.

I have a flash program Im trying to install on the xda mini s. Its an exe file but when I folow your instruction as above for exe files, it just opens on the pc. Any idea how to get it onto the xda?

ontent Scramble System (CSS) is a Digital Rights Management (DRM) scheme used on almost all commercially produced DVD-Video discs. It utilizes a relatively weak, proprietary 40-bit stream cipher algorithm. The system was introduced around 1996 and has subsequently been compromised.
The CSS key sets are licensed to manufacturers who incorporate them into products such as DVD drives, DVD players and DVD movie releases. Most DVD players are equipped with a CSS Decryption module. CSS key is a collective term for authentication key, disc key, player key, title key, second disk key set, and/or encrypted key.
Some of the keys are stored on the lead-in area of the disk, which is generally only read by compliant drives. Keys can be passed from a DVD drive to a descrambler over a PC bus using a secure handshake protocol.

Note: Be sure that the size of the blank disc is the same with or larger than the original disc.

step1. Run the software, insert original DVD disc into the burner and you can learn about the information on the main interface.
Step2. Set the DVD burner as both source and destination.
Step3. Select the copy mode: Full Disc or Main Movie. Full Disc mode for copying the entire original disc with 1:1 ratio. Main Movie mode for creating customized DVD.
Step4. Clickto start the copy process. There are two steps during the copy process: first copy the DVD movie to a temporary folder on your computer, then copy the files in this temporary to anther balck DVD disc.
Step5. When the first copying process is done, eject the original DVD disc and insert a blank DVD disc, click "ok" on the pop up diallog box. Then it will start to burn the DVD movie to the blank DVD disc. Now you can enjoy your copied disc!
