Instant Messaging?

Is it possible to get AIM on a 8125? or any programs that support the AIM instant messaging program? Please let me know.

Yes of course you can. There are a few good messenger apps for pocket pc, one of them is Agile Messenger its a simple but good messenger apps.

actually thanks..i downloaded it..but it only supports AOL not AIM..

Well since your pocket pc phone is WM5, the answer is yes. You can use your GPRS connection or your wifi to connect to the internet and be able to use Agile Messenger once your connected.

actually what i meant was...all i have is an AIM screen name...when i open the program it only has AOL as a choice...and i cant log onto AOL with an AIM screen name

Why not try to create a new service for your AIM account.
Here's another messenger for your pocket pc IM+, try it out.

i think that one is just AOL as well..its ok though its not a big deal..

AOL.co.uk: AOL Instant Messenger - AIM for Windows CE

It's for AIM UK but it should still work. Let us know!

this is great. also free, I loaded it in to my 8125 and also my girls palm treo 700w,not to metion ppc6700 for sprint. the uk site is where you want to go. follow the link above or you can go to www.pocketpcfreeware.com. when you get there click on the british flag for english and in the search tab type in aim. it will be 3rd from bottom. enjoy. and yes it's free. remember to start you internet before launching aim.
