I have just configured the Cell Broadcast option to be enabled (Channel 050). And now I'm getting Notifications for the cell I'm in, which is what I wanted.
Though I was hoping that the Cell information would be displayed on the front screen and not come in a separate notifications <img>. Basically like on standard mobiles where the cell info is displayed next to the provider's name.
Does anyone know of an app that can handle these "Message from Network" notifications?

P.S. For those interested I'm using a HP iPAQ 6828 Windows Mobile 5.1 (basically the same as an O2 Atom)
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Newbie2! That's great that you are getting Cell Broadcast messages to work! Unfortunately I don't know of any Pocket PC application that will allow you to do this (a today screen plug in would be really nice). Anyone else have a clue?
