Imate Jamin - Bad voice quality while call recordings

Hi,
Whenever I try to record a voice call on my Jamin, the voice of the other person is very very low. I am using the in-built default note program for call recording, and I have set loudspeaker volume to maximum. But even then the results which I have got are pathetic.
When I go to Settings - Input - Options; there I can see number of Voice recording formats; like 44100Hz 16 bit stereo, 44100 Hz 16 bit mono, etc. Can anyone advise which one these formats am I supposed to choose to get the best possible result.
Please advise that am I supposed to make any changes in voice settings or any other place, which would make it possible to have clear and audible voice call recording on Jamin.
Please advise.
Thanks

digimart:

Have you tried setting the Voice recording format to "GSM 6.10: 8,00 Hz, Mono (2KB/s)?" I've heard that voice quality is much better if you use this while recording a voice call (just make sure the other party is aware of this ).
