mpeg 2 for pocket pc

i have a problem lately, i can't play mpeg-2 movies in my pocket pc.

does anyone have a codec for mpeg-2 ?

does it matter what player i use ?

Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Eyal! To solve your problem I'd recommend downloading TCPMP, it's by far the greatest media player for the Pocket PC. You can download it in our download section here. Let us know if it works for you!

How is the quality of this for playing mpeg-2? Does it play full screen?

The quality for playing MPEG-2 videos is great, one of the best I've seen, and it also plays full screen as well.

I've tried playing mpeg2 back but it's very jerky and keeps pausing. Is there a maximum bitrate that it can handle? I'm playing DTV recordings that are typically 6.5 to 7 mpbs here in Aus. Is that to high? I'm using an Axim X50v. Thanks Rob

I suggest you read this guide called watch Movies with Subtitles on your Pocket PC with TCPMP and then try again
