Streets & Trips, GPS problems

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong?

After downloading the Streets and Trips I could not get the GPS to work, I am using a PPC 6700. I have turned the GPS on and still noting, what should I do?

Welcome to Pocket PC Addict foghat! To get GPS working with Microsoft Street and Trips you need to have a GPS adapter. Are you currently using one? If so, how it is connected to your Pocket PC? (i.e. bluetooth?). Let us know so we can proceed in assisting you.

OK I see whats wrong, need an adapter. I thought that the GPS in the ppc was all I needed. Where do I get an adapter (bluetooth)? Is that all I need?

The internal GPS in that phone is not listed as useable for mapping, only for 911 locating. I don't know if you can turn it on for map use.

Drum4ever is right about the internal GPS only being used for e911. However if you want to purchase a Bluetooth GPS adapter you can start by going to a site like Pharos.
