Welcome to the forums Lupo! My guess is that because you are running Windows Mobile 5.0 and not WM2003, you might run into some issues. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Windows Mobile 5.0 supports eVB (Embedded Visual Basic) programs natively, so you don't have to install the runtime (the runtime is only supported for WM2003 anyway). What error message are you receiving (if any) and have you checked their support forums? I'm wondering if other people are having issues with Windows Mobile 5.0 compatability.
Try uninstalling the runtime and just installing the GlucoControl app. Let me know what error messages come up.
Hi all,
It's very interesting to talk about WM5, i'm having the same problem as well with the eVB runtime when i'm trying to run some games that i've re-installed from my XDA IIs into my XDA Atom. It keep saying "The application you have launched required Microsoft eMbedded Visual Basic runtime to be installed", and when i try to installed eVB Runtime for PPC 2003 it won't accept it.
So is there any way to trigger the eVB runtime for WM5 or WM5 is a failure?
