I've been trying to think of a good reason to buy Calligrapher (I hate to pass up $12.95 and decide later on that I want it and it's back to $39.95) but since I started using HandNotes I can't come up with a good enough reason. HandNotes allows handwritten notes and text notes, alarms, reminders and you can create folders to store your notes in. It even gives you a listing of alarms and reminders so that you don't have to read each note to find it (as in Phatnotes) I know that Calligrapher will make text out of my handwriting but I don't see why I need that. Can any Calligrapher "vet" tell me what I'm missing ?
I mostly just use it for converting my handwriting to text.
But there is a scripting engine called pencommander which allows you to make macros and scripts for things like autologins to websites, auto inserting text like email addresses and signatures.
I use it to auto login to a terminal server connection.
