Hi everybody,
I have ipaq 4700 and I know it enables you to record voice. But what I am wonderding is if it is possible to use it as a real digital recorder, for example, in class. Or is there a program that I can buy to do so??
Thank you,
Deno
If the onboard mic picks up the room well enough, use Notem to record to MP3 as long as you have flash card and battery to support. The Dell X50 has outboard mic capability which helps this a bit.
The software I use for meetings, etc. is Vito sound Explorer. It has a multitude of functions and settings that allow you adjust it to different environments. You can record to your storage card which would be recommended for a class long lecture. It will also organize your notes into different folders for each day used if you like. I would download this trial as well as others mentioned here in this thread and see which one you like the best
I tried both applications, the Notem is free and very nice however the vito explorer is excellent and a little bit expensive. Brad, how long I will be able to use the vito's demo?
Thanks again,
Deniz

Thank you for your post yildi,
I just dowloaded the trial version. it is really nice. But I cannot make my mind between the two (resco vs. vito explorer)
