For those iPod/Pocket PC lovers, pPod has resurfaced!. If you missed it the first time around, pPod is a iPod themed MP3 player, with an interface that was lawsuit worthy enough for Apple to shut them down.
Now, its back and its Free! While it dosen't support proper VGA res, it is a nifty media interface, with an extremly similar feel to the iPod. Link below will give download and a few mirrors Link..
I am not overly impressed with PPOD I see no additional fictionally besides a Directory structure being used as a play list and giving up the ability to play Windows media file is a price that is to high a price to pay for that little of a feature windows media player offers skin that will give most of the feel of a Ipod .......
Wow, a "free" Ipod!!
Well, not exactly, but definitely a worthy clone. I like it, and that says alot as I have not bought into the Ipod hysteria. And it will definitely not be the only music player on my hx4705.
It's tough to complain when it is free. Another great find on PPC!
Just downloaded and installed it on my 4705 -- beautiful! I also own Pocket Player and this program is GREAT. Sometimes simple is all you need (the sound seems quite good, too!) A great find -- thanks!
How do you register for the pPod. I've had it for a couple of days and its asking me to register but I don't know what code to put in. Can someone help?
