A new program for desktop and Pocket PC called WebCopier allows you to download websites (perhaps in their entirety) and carry them for reading on your Pocket PC. It has a 15 day trial and costs $35 to register. WebCopier for Pocket PC - runs on your desktop computer. It can download websites, browse them offline on your desktop computer, and copy the sites to your Pocket PC. The program is similar to WebCopier for Windows.
Anyone out there considering an app like this?
I am trying the 15 day trial. I am quite pleased with the software. I would not recommend downloading large websites. the download times are too long. I would say sites upto 25 MBs download quite quickly. The other problem with large sites is that the downloads sometime stop for quite a while before they start again. Once the pages are downloaded and transfered to a pocket pc they look good, just the same as surfing but quicker with smaller sites.
