and i am wondering does the operating ststem need updating from time to time?
kinda like a desktop does?
either way do they have a newer version of media player for it if so how do i DL it? thanks guys

I believe with the X5 you are fairly limited with your update options. There are a few rom upgrades available, but if it is doing what you need it to do, you might just want to leave well enough alone. 8-)
